Why should I work with Meghan Mahler Design?

I am passionate about my work and actively seek out businesses and non-profit agencies whose missions I can support and those that I can genuinely help flourish and grow. I cultivate strong client relationships through honest communication, responsiveness and creativity. I am always on-time, on-budget and on-target!

How much does a project typically cost?

I understand cost plays a big factor in your decision process. I estimate most of my projects based on the project scope, the turnaround time, and the size of the business.

Do you work with large and small companies?

Some of my clients are successful small companies. Many are non-profit organizations. Others are Fortune 500 organizations. I don’t define an ideal client by size, industry or project type. The truth is that the clients I enjoy most are all different sizes, from different industries, and with different needs.

How does the payment process work?

It’s my standard practice to require a 50% up-front progress payment which initiates work on your project followed by the balance at the project’s completion. When requested by a client and under specific circumstances outlined by Mehgan Mahler Design, I will work with you to negotiate a payment plan that better fits your financial needs. I accept payment by cash or check.

How is printing handled?

I prefer to handle printing through my approved printing vendor-partners. This ensures quality and adherence to budget and timing parameters. If you would like me to use outside vendors/resources, I will charge an additional fee for review of proofs and press checks.

Will I have several concepts to choose from for my project? How many revisions are included?

The number of concepts and revisions vary based on the project budget and timeline which are spelled out in the proposal and agreed upon before work begins. For print collateral, I typically present up to 2 unique concepts with 3-4 rounds of revisions. Additional concepts or revisions that go beyond what is stated in the contract will result in additional charges – but I will let you know well before that happens.

Do you discount work for non-profit organizations?

It is my passion to work within the non-profit industry and do have a fee structure set up specifically for these organizations, I do my best to give back. I understand the financial constraints of non-profits and work with them accordingly.

Do you do rush projects?

Yes typically I can accommodate rush jobs. I do, however, assess an additional fee because rush jobs often times require me to work beyond normal business hours and postpone work for other clients. Especially when working with new clients, I prefer having that extra time to take all the necessary steps to ensures the most effective final product.

Do you handle all aspects of your projects?

Yes, Once your project has been designed, reviewed and revised, and is ready for production, all the details will be handled on my end, including but not limited to proof approvals, printing, and mailing services, so you can continue to focus on the next steps of your marketing or event outreach.
